    Financial Stocks Drive Intraday Gain on Nigeria Exchange

    Financial stocks drove intraday gain on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX), according to Alpha Morgan Capital Limited. In its midday report, the investment firm said at the moment, the NGX All Share Index is maintaining a positive stance, recording a lift of 0.44%.

    Stock market analysts said the uptick can be attributed to buying interest observed in notable stocks, which include TRANSCORP, OANDO, DANGSUGAR, STANBIC, FIDELITYBK, NASCON, ETI, ACCESSCORP, and other listed stocks.

    Transcorp Plc has gained 9.93% at the time of writing, while Oando Plc has added 5.46% during the intraday trading session. Dangote Sugar Plc has gained 4.43% followed by positive price appreciation in banking stocks. Naira Lost 11% as Banks Issue New Update on FX Spending

    Stanbic IBTC has seen a 4.17% surge in its market price followed by a 3.6% intraday gain in Fidelity Bank Plc. Ticker, Ecobank Transnational Incorporation ETI is trading 0.44% above its opening price while Accesscorp Plc has done 0.19%.
