Transcorp Hotels Sets to Pay Interim Dividend to Shareholders

Transcorp Hotels Plc will be paying its shareholders an interim dividend for the first half of 2025 on Friday. The company declared an interim dividend of N0.10 kobo following an impressive earnings performance for the first six months of operations.

In July, the company released its earnings performance with a net income of N8.679 billion, up by 31.20% year-on-year from N6.615 billion in H1-2024.

MarketForces Africa reported that the hospitality company said an interim dividend of 10 kobo per share will be paid to investors holding the stock as of August 8.

In the first half of the year results, Transcorp Hotels’ revenue grew by 60% year-on-year to N47.572 billion in the first half of 2025 from N29.719 billion in the equivalent period in 2024.

The financial statement showed that Transcorp Hotels’ gross profit increased by 71% year-on-year to N36.212 billion from N21.189 billion.

The period saw the launch of the company’s world-class, 5,000-seat capacity center, demonstrating Transcorp Hotels’ positioning as the event and hospitality leader in Nigeria, the hospitality company said.

Management said the successful launch of Nigeria’s largest corporate venue is further evidence of Transcorp Hotels’ ability to unlock new revenue streams and drive sustainable growth.

“In line with its promise to continually deliver value, the Company is rewarding shareholders with an interim dividend of N1,024,252,841 at N0.10 for every 50 kobo ordinary share, subject to appropriate withholding tax,” the hospitality company said in a post-earnings disclosure. #Transcorp Hotels Sets to Pay Interim Dividend to Shareholders#
