SpaceX Tokenised bStocks Down 4% on Derivative Pressure

SpaceX Tokenised bStocks (SPCXB) is down by about 4% in 24 hours to $131.71 on Monday, underperforming a broadly weaker crypto market.

Price slipped on high-volume selling and derivatives pressure, evidenced by a 158.6% spike in trading volume and social media discussion of stop-hunts and short positions.

The coin’s 24-hour trading volume surged 158.6% to nearly $120 million, confirming strong selling pressure. Social chatter referenced a “stop hunt” and active short positions targeting a move back to $141, indicating derivatives activity may have amplified the downward move.

The drop was accompanied by significant conviction from sellers, not just mild drift. Sustained high volume on any price recovery to gauge whether selling pressure is exhausting.

The move appears more technical and flow-driven rather than driven by a specific fundamental catalyst. The immediate trend is bearish following the high-volume decline. Key resistance is now at $141, as noted by traders.

A broader sector headwind exists with Kraken’s deadline to liquidate delisted tokens, including similar assets, by August 27, which may weigh on sentiment.

Crypto market analysts said If SPCXB fails to reclaim $135, the next support is $120–125. The path of least resistance is lower unless buying volume returns to reclaim key levels.

A close above $135 would signal short-term bearish exhaustion. The combination of high-volume selling and derivatives chatter points to controlled distribution. The lack of a positive catalyst leaves it vulnerable to following broader market weakness TAO Surges on Mentat Lend Money Market for Subnet Tokens Launch
