Ethereum Price Up after Validators Exit Queue Drops to Zero

Ethereum (ETH) price is up 2.5% to $1,911, outperforming a flat Bitcoin and primarily driven by sustained institutional accumulation via spot ETFs and on-chain staking demand.

The second-largest digital asset uptick follows a recent decline in Ethereum’s validator exit queue, which fell to zero.  For the first time since September 2025, there are zero validators waiting to exit Ethereum’s proof-of-stake system.

Crypto analysts said this means unstaking requests are processed immediately, eliminating a backlog that once held over 2.6 million ETH. Major staking providers like Lido and Coinbase facilitate these exits.

This is bullish for Ethereum because it indicates strong validator confidence and reduces potential selling pressure from unstaking. It enhances network resilience and liquidity management for staking services.

Supporting the momentum was the persistent institutional demand, with BlackRock’s Ethereum ETFs seeing $99.2 million in net inflows over five days ending July 24 and entities like BitMine targeting 5% of ETH supply.

The move is anchored by continued capital deployment into U.S. spot Ethereum ETFs. BlackRock’s funds attracted $99.2 million in net inflows from July 20–24, while cumulative net inflows have topped $11 billion.

Concurrently, on-chain data shows aggressive accumulation, with exchange reserves dropping to 15.1 million ETH and a staking entry queue of 2.53 million ETH, signalling institutional patience for yield.

Demand is structural, not speculative, reducing immediate sell-side pressure. Daily ETF flow data and changes in the staking queue length.

ETH broke above its recent consolidation range, with the price now trading above the 7-day and 30-day moving averages. The RSI-14 at 56.01 suggests bullish momentum without being overbought.

The move coincides with a broader uptick in the Altcoin Season Index, which rose 7.84% over the past week, indicating some capital rotation away from Bitcoin.

The breakout is technically valid and supported by improving altcoin sentiment. A daily close above the Fibonacci 23.6% retracement level at $1,850.21 would confirm strength.

The immediate trajectory hinges on two concrete factors: the continuation of ETF inflows and the upcoming Glamsterdam network upgrade scheduled for September–October 2026.

The key price zone to watch is support at $1,850 and resistance at $1,920. If buying pressure from institutions persists and ETH holds $1,850, a test of the swing high near $1,955 is the next logical target.

However, if inflows stall or broader market sentiment sours, a retest of the 50-day EMA near $1,823 becomes probable. The bias is cautiously bullish, contingent on institutional behaviour.

The next batch of ETF flow data and any developer updates on the Glamsterdam timeline. The 24-hour gain reflects a combination of steady institutional buying and a valid technical breakout, setting a constructive near-term tone. XRP Dips, Ripple Launches Ripple Mint for RLUSD Stablecoin
