XRP Rises as RippleX Predicts 100m Agentic Transactions on XRPL
XRP price races ahead to $1.15 on Wednesday as the market prices in optimism from RippleX’s projection of 100 million agentic transactions on the XRP Ledger.
The token is hovering above $1.1554 on Wednesday, with approximately $1.3 billion in transaction value and lower trading volume.
RippleX engineers forecast that automated transactions initiated by AI agents on the XRP Ledger will soon exceed 10 million, driven by the integration of AI software with programmable crypto wallets.
“I was very pleased to see the 1 million milestone on $XRP Ledger, but I think we’ll blast through 10 million … [and] may even get to 100 million within the next couple of years given the pace of development with agents and how the infrastructure continues to get better,” RippleX Head of Engineering Ayo Akinyele told The Block.
This projection underscores the emerging narrative of an “agentic economy” where autonomous software utilises blockchain for rapid, low-cost machine-to-machine payments, potentially creating a new utility-driven demand layer for the XRP token.
The token is gaining traction as institutional investors continue to position amidst improved buying sentiment via exchange-traded funds (ETFs) linked to XRP.
The total net asset value of $XRP spot ETFs is 1.063 billion USD, the $XRP net asset ratio is 1.48%, and the historical cumulative net inflow has reached 1.494 billion USD.
Investor sentiment improved as the merged CLARITY Act, which would statutorily define XRP as a commodity, saw a key development. President Trump agreed to an ethics provision, clearing a hurdle in the Senate. The bill has an August 7 deadline for passage.
XRP’s trajectory is being shaped by a convergence of regulatory tailwinds, institutional accumulation, and improving technicals. The total cryptocurrency market capitalisation remained flat at $2.33 trillion, while Bitcoin traded sideways over the last 24 hours at $66,000.
Ethereum declined by 0.7% to reach $1,920. Sector performance was mixed, with the NFT and GameFi segments gaining 6%, whereas the DeFi sector dropped by 4%. #XRP Rises as RippleX Predicts 100m Agentic Transactions on XRPL XRP Breakout, Up by 5% as Ripple CTO Regrets Selling at $0.10
