XRP Price Up as XRP Ledger Adds $2.6bn in Tokenised Assets
XRP price edged up slightly to $1.10, still hovering around a strong support line after a failed attempt to breach resistance in the just concluded week.
With $580 million in transaction value, XRP trading volume is down by 10%, reflecting a slowdown in activities ahead of the US Federal Reserve policy rate decision.
Crypto analysts have set a higher target price for the token in anticipation of positive price movement in top cryptos like Bitcoin, Ethereum, Binance Coin and other overall broad market caps.
In a latest development, the XRP Ledger (XRPL) has added about $2.6 billion in tokenised real-world asset (RWA) value over the past six months, excluding stablecoins, making it the second-largest blockchain for net RWA inflows behind BNB Chain.
The largest portion of this value comes from Justoken’s JMWH energy tokens, representing $2.23 billion, which account for over half of XRPL’s total RWA value.
While most of XRPL’s RWA value is represented by off-chain contracts recorded on the ledger, distributed assets total around $323 million.
The network’s combined RWA and stablecoin value exceeds $5.37 billion. XRPL continues to expand its tokenisation base and infrastructure for regulated markets, with growing issuer and holder numbers, but RWA growth does not directly translate to increased XRP token demand.
The six-month figures placed XRPL ahead of several larger smart-contract networks for new tokenised asset value.
Solana added about $1.6 billion while Avalanche attracted roughly $972 million. Ethereum remained the largest home for distributed tokenised assets, but its net addition during the measured period was lower at about $424 million.
That rise continues a trend visible earlier in 2026. XRPL moved into sixth place in the tokenised RWA rankings in February after adding $354 million in one month.
A July report found tokenised assets on the ledger had passed $3 billion as developers added compliance tools, permissioned trading and proposed lending features.
Growth in real-world assets measures value recorded or issued on the ledger. It does not show how much XRP investors purchased or how often they used the native token.
Most institutional products can use XRPL for issuance and settlement while paying only small network fees in XRP, and stablecoins such as Ripple’s RLUSD can also handle the cash side of transactions without XRP working as a bridge asset. Ethereum Price Up after Validators Exit Queue Drops to Zero
