XRP Price Prediction: Bullish Momentum Forms as Ripple Taps New Platforms

Ripple (XRP) is setting the stage for a fresh rally; the price increased by about 2% to $1.1027, outperforming the broader crypto market, driven by renewed buying actions.

Amidst uncertainties, the XRP price target has been shifted to $1.20 after the token reached $1.16 during the week – with most analysts citing a token-specific rally on the notion that capital will rotate into altcoins.

As a risk-beta asset, XRP often experiences a tag-along rally with Bitcoin movement. Latest data show that the total cryptocurrency market capitalisation remained flat at $2.28 trillion, while Bitcoin traded sideways at $64,200 and Ethereum held steady at $1,870.

Sector performance was mixed, with GameFi, Meme, and NFT segments gaining 2%, whereas the Real World Assets (RWA) sector declined by 1%.

Recent week trading showed XRP struggling to trend following a significant spot exchange-traded fund (ETF) outflow, with institutional buying momentum that has cooled off.

The token trading volume is down 42% on the day with $628 million in transaction value.  Today’s price movement signals bullish momentum is forming, with XRP gaining about 2% in 24 hours, reversing the latest downtrend.

Pressure mounted as whales continued accumulating while retail investors reduced holdings, leaving XRP largely range-bound after a volatile week.

The token gained 5% in the latest trend but retreated following profit-taking. Santiment reported that wallets holding 100,000–100 million $XRP increased combined holdings by 2.8% over the past five weeks, while the smallest wallets (under 0.01 $XRP) cut balances by 5.2%.

Boosting optimism, Ripple taps new platforms to boost cross-border payments and gain access to stablecoin management. During the week, Ripple launched Ripple Mint, a platform to expand institutional access to the $RLUSD stablecoin.

Ripple said, “Ripple Mint is here – a unified way for institutions to access, mint, redeem, and manage Ripple USD. The platform lets institutions mint, redeem and transfer $RLUSD across supported blockchains, and track transactions from creation to maturity.

Ripple Mint offers Web-Based or Direct Connect (API) options and introduces new APIs and webhook notifications for status checks, balance queries and real-time updates, using uniform reference IDs to improve visibility and reconciliation.

$RLUSD is issued under Standard Custody & Trust Company LLC, a NYDFS-chartered trust; Ripple also invested in Notabene and is expanding $RLUSD beyond the $XRP Ledger and Ethereum to the XRPL EVM Sidechain, Base, Optimism, Ink and Unichain.

The platform is available to existing $RLUSD customers.  The token has been under sell pressure, aligning with broader market movement.

XRP closed at $1.33 in May, dropped to $1.29 on June 1, and fell further to below $.120 in July 1, 2026. XRP is projected to close between $1.20 and $1.30 in July, with a midpoint projection of $1.25. XRP Dips, Ripple Launches Ripple Mint for RLUSD Stablecoin
