XRP Price Hits $1.15 on Clarity Progress, Ripple Prime Wins

Up 5%, XRP price is hovering around $1.15 on Tuesday, outperforming a broader market rally, driven primarily by renewed optimism around U.S. regulatory progress for crypto.

Reports on July 21 indicated President Trump agreed to a crucial ethics provision for the CLARITY Act, removing a major obstacle to its passage. This bill aims to establish a clear regulatory framework distinguishing digital commodities from securities, a long-term positive for XRP.

The move is a sentiment-driven rally on hopes for reduced regulatory uncertainty, which could unlock institutional investment.

The U.S. Senate vote, which must occur before the August 7 recess to avoid significant delays. XRP’s rise occurred alongside a 2.98% gain in Bitcoin and a 2.3% rise in total crypto market cap, providing a supportive backdrop.

Technically, the price decisively broke above the key $1.13 resistance level that analysts like Ali Martinez were watching, triggering bullish signals and short liquidations.

The move was amplified by broader market strength and confirmed a technical pattern, attracting momentum traders.

The immediate trend is bullish but faces a test at the 50-day Exponential Moving Average near $1.15. If XRP holds above $1.13, the next target is the $1.35 extension level.

The key near-term event is the Senate action on the CLARITY Act. A failure to hold $1.13 could see a pullback toward the $1.06 weekly low. The outlook is conditionally bullish, hinging on both technical hold and political progress.

A daily close below $1.13 would invalidate the short-term breakout. The 24-hour gain combines a potent regulatory catalyst with confirming technical strength, though both remain unconfirmed by final votes and sustained price action.

Ripple is driving institutional adoption by integrating with major financial giants like JPMorgan and Mastercard and launching the RLUSD stablecoin on the XRP Ledger, boosting its utility.

Ripple Prime processes $3T annually as institutional adoption accelerates.  Ripple says the crypto winter is driving institutional adoption, as Ripple Prime expands rapidly and RLUSD targets 24/7 collateral management

Mike Higgins, International CEO of Ripple Prime, announced that Ripple Prime has been shortlisted in multiple categories at the Hedgeweek US Awards 2026, including Prime Broker of the Year, Client Service, Specialist Markets, Start-up & Emerging Managers, and Technology.

This recognition is notable since Ripple Prime operates in a space usually dominated by traditional finance firms, offering services like custody, collateral management, financing, trade execution, settlement, and access to different trading platforms.

In an interview, Higgins said that the current crypto winter is not a digital asset winter. He argues that falling prices don’t automatically mean big investors are backing away.

What’s really happening is that financial markets are shifting toward 24/7 trading, which calls for always-on blockchain infrastructure to make that work. Higgins sees Ripple Prime leading the way.

Ripple acquired Hidden Road in October 2025 for $1.25 billion and subsequently rebranded the company as Ripple Prime.

Since then, revenue has tripled year over year. Ripple Prime now processes more than $3 trillion in annual transaction volume for over 300 institutional clients. Higgins sees collateral management as one of the key differentiators Bitcoin Hits $66k, Races Towards Predicted Price on ETF Inflows
