VFD group has announced the appointment of Adewunmi Mobolaji as the new Executive Director, Finance for the group. The statement was made known by the Chief Executive Officer, Nonso Okpala.

Okpala said; “I am delighted to announce the appointment of my friend, brother and business partner Adewumi Mobolaji as an Executive Director, Finance of VFD Group. By way of introduction, Bolaji- as he is fondly call by friends and associates -was one of the founding shareholders of PremiumGreen Limited (a major investor in VFD Group) and very instrumental when both companies began over 10 years ago.

He said; “during our time in KPMG, we both tried and failed with countless similar setups. Each failure equipped us for the successful setup of VFD Group. His appointment, post his exit from First Bank of Nigeria Plc, represents the entrance of the last of five core shareholders, the hashtag#G5 who currently serve as Executive Directors of the Group”.

“Bolaji is responsible for many groundbreaking transactions within the Group and I have faith in his astounding leadership qualities and deep business acumen. I’m confident of his ability and I know his expertise in the financial services sector will help set VFD apart”, the Chief Executive Officer at VFD Group said.
