Twitter Says Testing Long-Form Writing Feature ‘Notes’

Twitter said in a tweet Thursday that it is working on a new feature that allows users to write long-form text on the platform.

“Notes” will let users write longer than the 280-character limit, and the posts can be read on and off Twitter, according to the company.

A small group of writers is currently testing Notes, but Twitter didn’t provide details on the wider rollout of the new feature. Twitter shares were up 0.4% in recent premarket trading Thursday. # Twitter Says Testing Long-Form Writing Feature ‘Notes’
