Pi Network Price Rises 4% as Capital Flows into Altcoins

Pi Network price climbed by about 4% in 24 hours to $0.0802 on Wednesday, slightly outperforming a broader market rally as investors shifted attention into altcoins.

Beta drove the move, as capital flowed into crypto amid strong correlations with traditional markets. The entire crypto market cap rose 2.35%, with Bitcoin gaining 2.26%. Pi’s positive price movement closely tracks this beta move.

The rally is macro-driven, with a 24h correlation of 0.95 between the total crypto market cap and the S&P 500 ETF (SPY), indicating a shared, rates-sensitive move.

The provided news and social data contain no mentions of Pi-related catalysts, partnerships, or ecosystem developments. Volume, while up 15.77% to $3.65 million, remains modest with a low turnover ratio of 0.004, signalling thin liquidity.

Pi faces immediate resistance near $0.085. The key trigger is Bitcoin’s trend. If BTC holds $83,000, Pi may consolidate, biased toward testing $0.085. A break below Pi’s local support at $0.078 could see a swift drop toward $0.075.

A loss of the $0.078 level on increasing volume, which would signal failed momentum. Pi’s gains reflect a rising tide lifting all boats, not intrinsic strength. Its path remains tied to Bitcoin’s next move.

Meanwhile, Pi Network’s first developer-focused Ecosystem Summit is scheduled for November 17–19, 2026. It will cover platform releases, live demos, app showcases, and details of a new hackathon.

This follows the recent launch of tools like Pi App Studio and SoloHost, which aim to lower the barrier to building AI and blockchain apps.

This is bullish for PI’s long-term utility, as it signals a concerted push to activate its reported 60-million-plus user base with real applications.

However, the token’s price hasn’t reacted, trading near support at $0.0747, suggesting the market is waiting for tangible adoption results from these efforts. European Stocks Rally as AI Bears Drag S&P 500, Nasdaq Lower
