This strategic partnership underscores the NCC’s commitment to strengthening Nigeria’s cyber security posture. DNSSEC, developed by ICANN, is a crucial suite of specifications that enhance the security of the Domain Name System (DNS) by preventing cyber threats and ensuring the integrity of internet communications .

The webinar aims to educate stakeholders on the importance of DNSSEC in securing internet communications, thereby promoting DNSSEC awareness. It also seeks to encourage Nigerian organizations to adopt DNSSEC validation. Ultimately, the webinar aims to strengthen Nigeria’s cyber security ecosystem through collaborative efforts.

By achieving a 50% DNSSEC validation rate, Nigeria can significantly improve its cyber resilience and safeguard its digital infrastructure. This initiative aligns with global efforts to enhance cyber security and promote a safer online environment. #NCC, ICANN Collaborate to Enhance Nigeria’s Cyber Resilience#
