Cardano Price Climbs 12% after RealFi Protocol Mainnet Launch

Cardano is up 12.04% to $0.274 in 24 hours, significantly outperforming a modestly positive broader market, driven largely by the recent RealFi protocol mainnet launch.

The RealFi protocol launch on Cardano’s mainnet on October 3, 2026, catalyzed positive sentiment and buying interest. A technical breakout above key resistance and a surge in retail social sentiment.

The RealFi protocol, a real-world asset (RWA) platform backed by an investment from Cardano founder Charles Hoskinson, launched on the Cardano mainnet on October 3, 2026. This tangible ecosystem development drove positive headlines and speculative interest, acting as a clear catalyst for the rally.

The move is driven by a specific, bullish narrative around Cardano’s utility expansion into the growing RWA sector, rather than just general market momentum.

ADA broke decisively above its recent consolidation range of $0.23–$0.26, a key resistance level. This breakout was accompanied by a 456% spike in trading volume, confirming strong buying pressure.

Concurrently, ADA became the top-trending crypto ticker on Stocktwits, with social sentiment shifting from bearish to bullish. The price action validated the bullish catalyst, attracting momentum traders and amplifying the move through increased retail participation.

The next major Fibonacci extension level at $0.293 could act as a profit-taking zone. The immediate trend is bullish but faces a test at the $0.2887 level. If ADA can sustain a close above this level, it opens the path toward $0.30–$0.31.

The key support to watch is the breakout zone around $0.26; a daily close below it would invalidate the breakout and could trigger long liquidations, pushing the price back toward the $0.23–$0.24 support band.

The rally needs to hold above its breakout level to maintain its integrity; otherwise, it risks a sharp reversal.  Price action around $0.2887 and whether on-chain activity (like DEX volume) begins to catch up with the price surge.

The rally is supported by a clear catalyst and strong technical confirmation, but its sustainability hinges on holding key support. The big question in the market is whether ADA can decisively break and hold above the $0.2887 resistance in the next 24-48 hours, or will it reject and retest the $0.26 breakout level. #Cardano Price Climbs 12% after RealFi Protocol Mainnet Launch# Cardano Extends Rally on RealFi Launch, Payments Partnership
