Ruthless Real Madrid Delivers Again, Beats Dortmund 2-0

Real Madrid demonstrated that they are a merciless winning machine in the Champions League with their late charge to win another title in Europe’s premier competition. Real Madrid faltered in the first half as they were held back by Borussia Dortmund’s relentless attacks, just as they have done in previous seasons.

At the other end, Madrid was hanging on by the hairs, while Dortmund created opportunities but crucially wasted them. Real hardly mustered an attack worthy of the name. As Liverpool and other teams have discovered in previous Champions League finals, there is typically only one result when that occurs. Real Madrid gained momentum to deliver those two late blows to valiant Borussia, with custodian Courtois amply demonstrating why Ancelotti chose him over Andriy Lunin.

Madrid had to spring back at halftime in order to win the fifteenth. Although Borussia Dortmund was dominating Los Blancos in a manner that is uncommon in a European Cup final, Ancelotti made the right moves.

He started by energising the team with the heavyweights, but they didn’t have the required intensity when they took the pitch. He then adjusted the setup, establishing a more lucid 4-3-3 formation. Madrid was a different team in the second half as a result of the changes.

At Wembley, Madrid displayed their winning formula once more, prioritising risk-taking over strategy. A strategy that has been developed over time and is, in the opinion of some, fortunate but grounded in an iron mentality

Many will be curious as to how Real Madrid manages to appear unbalanced so frequently. However, these legendary players’ muscle memory kicked in, as the Champions League winners’ medals were won six times by the departing Toni Kroos, Carvajal, Nacho, and late substitute Luka Modric.

And as unwavering as ever, Ancelotti maintained his amazing record as the head of this magnificent club. It was a quiet night for the England young superstar Bellingham, who missed a big chance before setting up Vinicius Jr. for the second goal of the match.

He has had a wonderful campaign since joining Madrid from Dortmund, England will hope this sets him up perfectly for the upcoming Euro 2024. #Ruthless Real Madrid Delivers Again, Beats Dortmund 2-0 IATA Hails Nigeria for Clearing 98% of Airlines’ Trapped Funds
