Nigerdock, a Nigerian maritime and logistics company operating an integrated port terminal has unveiled a new vision of strengthening global trade with West Africa and becoming a leader in providing maritime and logistics infrastructure.

The company which was recently certified as a ‘Great Place to Work in Nigeria’ by Great Place to Work Institute, has underlined its diversified operational focus in its mission statement and values.

Maher Jarmakani, Nigerdock’s Chief Executive Officer (CEO), disclosed this in a statement made available to journalists today, adding that the company is committed to delivering seamless supply chain and free zone solutions that bring value to customers while being responsible for our people and the environment.

Jarmakani said the company has set a legacy of promoting Nigeria’s industrialisation goals, and has incorporated a growth strategy to build one of the largest self-sustaining trading hubs to facilitate the expansion of mid-to-large-sized businesses across the continent.

“Redefining our purpose gives our people greater clarity regarding the journey ahead.

“As businesses adjust to the global economic climate, our internal and external stakeholders remain critical to our success, commitment to excellence, and sustainable operations,” Jarmakani added.

Nigerdock, a company committed to providing clients with terminal operations, marine services, and free zone solutions has also redefined its values as Integrity, Diversity, Excellence, Accountability, Leadership, and Synergy – IDEALS.

The values according to Jarmakani, “reflect the company’s track record of best practices, sector prominence, performance, innovation, and environmental consciousness.”

Appreciating the new certificate of ‘Great Place to Work’, Maher Jarmakani, said “We are delighted to be recognised for our positive culture and employee experience.

“A key component of our business strategy is to create an enabling environment, empower our people, and ensure our operational excellence translates to laudable business outcomes.”

Also speaking on the new achievement, Daniel Ayscough, Nigerdock’s Chief Human Resources Officer, revealed that “With over 35 years of operations, Nigerdock has consistently created employment opportunities and built a formidable team, centred on expertise, diversity, and cohesiveness.

“The Great Place to Work certification comes at a juncture where we have redefined our vision, mission, and values to align with our growth strategy. We continuously put our people at the heart of everything we do by enhancing employee purpose and development,” he said. # Nigerdock to Strengthen Trade with West Africa Market
