    Ghana’s Economy Expands 5.4% in 2021

Ghana’s economy grew 5.4% in 2021, according to the country’s statistics agency. The growth came after pandemic break induced pressures on economic activities in the prior year.

However, the surge in the nation’s economic balance sheet marks a sharp rebound from the low growth period of the COVID-19 pandemic while staying within growth estimates.

Data shows that the West African country’s gross domestic product grew 7% year on year in the fourth quarter, largely due to increased activities level in the agricultural sector.
