Tokenized Stock Dips as Meta Priced Equity Offering at Discount

Meta tokenized stock (METAX) dipped 2.03% to $621.23, underperforming a rising crypto market, primarily driven by dilution fears after Meta Platforms announced a $37.5 billion equity offering.

Price move as investors reacted to Meta’s $37.5 billion stock offering priced at a discount, sparking immediate selling pressure on the underlying stock, which the tokenized version tracks.

Meta Platforms priced a combined $37.5 billion offering of common and preferred stock on October 27, 2026. The common stock was priced at $625, a 2.7% discount to the prior close, which triggered immediate dilution concerns and selling in the traditional META stock.

The tokenized METAX, which tracks Meta’s stock price, moved in lockstep. The offering represents a major capital raise to fund AI infrastructure, but near-term selling pressure reflects investor concerns over share dilution and the cost of this ambition.

While the total crypto market cap rose 0.94% and Bitcoin gained 0.91%, METAX fell 2.03%, showing it decoupled from crypto beta and traded on its stock-specific news.

Furthermore, data shows Meta tokenized stock volume surged 1,417.12% on October 27, confirming intense selling activity.

The move was driven by equity-specific flows rather than crypto sentiment, with high volume validating the downward price action.

The immediate technical picture hinges on the $600–$625 range. The $625 level is now resistance (the offering price), while $600 is a key psychological and recent support.

Traders said a hold above $600 could lead to consolidation, but a break below opens a path toward $580. The broader outlook is also tied to the Federal Reserve’s policy decision on October 28; dovish guidance could support growth stocks like Meta, while hawkish tones may extend pressure.

The market is tracking the Fed’s statement and any shift in guidance on interest rates, which will impact the discount rate used to value Meta’s future AI earnings.

The combination of a dilutive equity offering and high-volume selling has created clear near-term headwinds for METAX. The key question now is whether METAX can defend the $600 support level in the next 24-48 hours, especially after the Fed’s policy announcement.
