Cardano Rises 5% on Fireblocks Institutional Integration Update

Cardano (ADA) price inched up 5% in 24 hours to $0.2483, significantly outperforming a nearly flat Bitcoin, driven primarily by news of institutional infrastructure support for its native token.

The Cardano Foundation and Fireblocks announced on September 24 that Fireblocks will add full support for Cardano Native Tokens (CNTs) by March 2027.

This allows institutional clients to custody, send, and receive CNTs using existing security controls, a significant step toward mainstream adoption.

This integration allows banks and financial institutions to custody and transfer CNTs using Fireblocks’ policy engine, providing a compliant bridge to traditional finance.

This is bullish for ADA because it directly addresses a major adoption hurdle by providing regulated entities with a secure, familiar way to handle Cardano-based assets.

It could attract significant institutional liquidity and validate the network’s technical design for real-world use.

This news directly addresses a key barrier for institutional use of Cardano’s ecosystem, boosting long-term utility sentiment and driving near-term buying.

ADA’s move aligns with a risk-on shift into altcoins, as the Season Index rose 8.89% in 24h. Technically, ADA reclaimed the $0.23–$0.25 zone, with its price now above key moving averages and the daily relative strength index at 59.62 indicating bullish momentum.

The rally was amplified by broader market rotation and confirmed by a clean technical breakout, attracting momentum traders.

The immediate trigger was the Fireblocks news, but the path ahead depends on holding key levels. The immediate resistance is at $0.26, with a cluster of liquidations near $0.252 acting as a magnet.

Strong support lies at $0.235–$0.236, aligning with a key Fibonacci retracement level. The structure is bullish while ADA trades above $0.24, but the market is testing a major resistance area.

Price reaction at $0.252 and $0.26; a rejection here could lead to consolidation. Cardano’s price rise is anchored by a concrete institutional development, supported by favourable market rotations and technical strength. Cardano Gains 8% on WhatsApp Payment Integration Boost
