Yusuf Lauds Tinubu’s Leadership, Urges 2027 Re-Election Support

Gov. Abba Kabir Yusuf of Kano State has described President Bola Tinubu as a committed leader delivering the dividends of democracy nationwide, calling on residents to back his re-election in 2027.

Addressing a large crowd at the Government House on Saturday, Yusuf said Tinubu has made notable progress in strengthening the national economy and expanding critical infrastructure despite limited federal resources.

“The President has been doing his best for this country; he has strengthened the economy and is ensuring that infrastructure reaches all zones within the resources available to the Federal Government,” he said.

Yusuf thanked Tinubu for his dedication to democracy and nation-building, adding that Kano residents were firmly behind the President.

“The people of Kano are fully behind Mr President, and we will support his re-election in 2027, by the grace of Allah.”

The governor also reaffirmed the dominance of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kano State, describing it as the only political platform capable of winning elections at all levels in the state and across Nigeria.

“The APC is the only winning party in Kano and Nigeria. By the grace of God, no other party can take control of the state or the country,” the governor said.

Yusuf congratulated APC members for the successes recorded during the party’s Northwest Zonal Congress and National Convention, promising continued investment in infrastructure, healthcare, education, agriculture, employment, and the empowerment of women and youths.

The governor was welcomed at Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport by cheering APC supporters following his return from Abuja.

He later led a rally through major streets of the state capital before arriving at the Government House. # Yusuf Lauds Tinubu’s Leadership, Urges 2027 Re-Election Support Nigeria Targets 7% GDP Growth, $14bn Infrastructure Boost— Edun
