XRP Slides to $1.39, Token Price Consolidates After Rally

XRP is down 1.19% to $1.39, closely tracking a broader market decline, propelled by macro-driven risk-off sentiment.  This slide mirrors the drop in Bitcoin (-1.38%) and the total crypto market cap (-1.12%), indicating a macro-driven move.

The token is currently priced at $1.39, down 1.19% over 24 hours but up 33.71% over the past month. This suggests the asset is in a consolidation phase following a significant uptrend, with a 24-hour trading volume of $2.11 billion indicating sustained interest.

This is neutral for XRP in the short term as the market digests recent gains. The high monthly return shows strong bullish momentum, but the current pause could precede either a continuation or a pullback. Key levels to watch are the monthly high and the $1.30 support zone.

The price move was not driven by XRP specific news but by general market conditions, making Bitcoin’s direction a key near-term guide.

Social media saw a spread of bearish posts, notably from accounts like TheBull1123, claiming fears that Ripple could be forced to restructure billions of XRP under the CLARITY Act.

While not a verified driver, the narrative contributed to negative sentiment and selling pressure, highlighting XRP’s continued sensitivity to regulatory speculation.

Technically, XRP is range-bound between support at $1.38 (Fibonacci swing low) and resistance at $1.43. The upcoming XRPL Korea event on October 3, 2026, could serve as a positive catalyst.

If buying volume increases and price holds above $1.38, a retest of $1.43 is likely. A breakdown below $1.38 risks a move toward $1.35.

The immediate bias is neutral-to-bearish within a defined range, awaiting a volume-backed breakout for direction.  A decisive close above $1.43 on high volume would signal bullish momentum, or a break below $1.38 would confirm further downside.

XRP’s modest decline is primarily a function of broader market weakness, exacerbated by unsubstantiated regulatory fears. Its price action remains contained within a tight technical range.Meta Tokenised bStocks Price Dips as Investors Brace for Inflation
