XRP Holds Flat as DTCC Lists Ripple in Tokenisation Infrastructure

XRP Holds Flat as DTCC Lists Ripple in Tokenisation Infrastructure

Ripple (XRP) price is holding flat around $1.09 over the last 24 hours, roughly unchanged on the day amidst sustained pressures in the cryptocurrency market.

The token trading volume has increased by about 14%, with $641 million in transaction value over the last 24 hours, amid flat sentiment despite Ripple’s series of market wins.

The market has continued to sell the news on XRP, reflecting downbeat investor sentiment with intermittent positive price movement.

Since their November 2025 launch, XRP exchange-traded funds (ETFs) have attracted $1.49 billion in total inflows, with nearly 80% arriving in the first two months.

Momentum has sharply declined, with July 2026 seeing just $4.28 million in inflows—the weakest month yet, with little to no daily activity.

This slowdown aligns with a broader risk-off environment driven by high interest rates and geopolitical tension. However, these funds have remained net positive, unlike U.S. spot Bitcoin and Ethereum ETFs, which saw billions in outflows during the same period

Meanwhile, the Depository Trust & Clearing Corporation (DTCC), which settles up to $4 quadrillion annually, has listed Ripple as a key partner in its tokenisation infrastructure.

Ripple is listed as a participant, positioning XRP to access unprecedented institutional settlement liquidity.  Market analysts noted that an institutional guide also classifies XRP within its collateral framework and applies a risk margin.

This follows a June 2026 IMF document referencing the XRP Ledger for bank-issued stablecoins. This is structurally bullish for XRP because it embeds the asset within the core plumbing of traditional finance.

Recognition by DTCC and the IMF signals growing institutional readiness and could unlock massive liquidity flows for XRP as a settlement asset, though this is a long-term integration play. XRP Dips as Wall Street Giant T. Rowe Price Launches XRP ETF
