UBA Drops Hints on 2025 Final Dividend, Earnings

Pan-African lender, United Bank for Africa (UBA) Group, has hinted at the final dividend payment for 2025, as the market awaits the release of its audited financial statements.

In a regulatory filing, the Pan-African lender told the Nigerian Exchange that its Board of United Bank for Africa Plc approved the group’s audited results for 2025 at its meeting held on Thursday, February 19, 2026.

UBA disclosed that the board has approved the payment of a final dividend, subject to the Central Bank of Nigeria’s approval.

The group plans to notify stakeholders upon the Central Bank of Nigeria’s approval of the Group Audited Consolidated & Separate Financial Statements for the year ended December 31, 2025.

UBA was the only financial services company that reported a year-on-year growth in profitability at the end of the 9months of the 2025 earnings period. A slew of analysts anticipate the group will keep its earnings momentum in 2026.  Naira Falls Again as Nigeria Avoids Strong Local Currency
