Sen. Yaroe Distributes N6m Farming Inputs to Farmers in Constituency

Sen. Binos Yaroe, representing Adamawa South Senatorial District, has distributed N6 million worth of farming inputs to no fewer than 300 farmers in his constituency.

Yaroe stated this on Monday in Mayo-Belwa Local Government area during the first phase of the distribution to beneficiaries drawn from nine Local Government Areas (LGA) in the senatorial district.

The Adamawa South Senatorial District in Adamawa, Nigeria, covers the local government areas of Demsa, Ganye, Guyuk, Jada, Lamurde, Mayo-Belwa, Numan, Shelleng, and Toungo. The senator said the gesture was part of his consistency project approved by the federal government for the farmers in 93 wards across nine LGA in the senatorial district.

He said each beneficiary would receive N20,000, fertilizer and herbicides aimed to boost their production. Yaroe said that in a fortnight the second batch of the input would be distributed across the nine LGA. He urged the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the inputs in order to have a bumper harvest.

Yahuza Yakamata, an official of Rockland Synergy Concepts, the company handling the distribution of inputs, said that the fertilizer are NPK 20-10-10 and NPK 20-15-15 as well as herbicides.

Mrs Violet Vendict, a beneficiary from Jada LGA, thanked and appreciated Sen. Yaroe for the gesture, and confirmed that she received N20,000, a bag of fertilizer and two bottles of herbicides.

Vendict, who cultivates maize and rice, said that the input was coming at the right time to enable her boost production on her farms. FIFA Ranking: Nigeria Drops from 30th to 38th Position
