Paris Olympics: Bello Lose to Yuan, Exit Table Tennis Event

Fatimo Bello has exited the table tennis event of the ongoing Paris 2024 Olympics after losing 0-4 to Jia Nan Yuan of France in the Women’s singles Round of 64.

Bello exit draws the curtain to Nigeria’s participation in table tennis following the trio of Quadri Aruna, Olajide Omotayo and Edem Offiong, who lost their first round of games as well.

The game played at the South Paris Arena 4 on Monday, the French proved a tough challenge to the Olympic debutant Bello, who lost 1-11, 3-11,3-11,5-11 to end her Olympic Games campaign.

With table tennis out of the way, Nigeria will continue her search for a medal at the Games in other sports. #Paris Olympics: Bello Lose to Yuan, Exit Table Tennis Event
