NVIDIA Tokenised Stock Gains, Coinbase Launches Tokenised Equities
NVIDIA Tokenised Stock (Robinhood) is up 1.97% over the past 24 hours to $213.25 on Tuesday, moving independently of a slightly down Bitcoin and other crypto market decliners.
The rise is primarily driven by new on-chain demand following Coinbase’s launch of tokenised Nvidia stock (NVDAc) on its Base network.
Coinbase launched tokenised US equities, including NVDAc, on its Base blockchain on August 24-25, 2026. This created immediate on-chain demand, with $4.55 million in tokens minted and deep liquidity provided on decentralised exchanges like Aerodrome.
The launch also includes an integration with Chainlink Data Feeds, giving decentralised finance (DeFi) applications access to continuous pricing for the tokenised stocks.
The move connects traditional equities with onchain markets, allowing tokenised stocks to be traded around the clock and potentially used across DeFi applications.
The launch directly channels crypto-native capital into a tokenised version of Nvidia stock, creating a new source of buy-side pressure.
The move aligns with growing institutional focus. Goldman Sachs reiterated buy ratings for crypto platforms expanding into tokenised products, and the overall tokenised public equities market has grown to $2.49 billion
NVDA’s token is benefiting from a macro trend of traditional finance assets moving on-chain. The token’s price is closely pegged to Nvidia’s underlying stock. The key trigger is the integration of NVDAc into more DeFi applications (e.g., lending and structured products) on Base.
The outlook is tied to ecosystem adoption. Sustained trading volume above the 24-hour level of $10.8 million would confirm healthy demand.
The price rise is structurally supported by a new, tangible use case rather than mere speculation. Continued integration into DeFi could provide a steady demand floor.
