NVIDIA Tokenised bStocks Up as NVIDIA Invests $3.5bn in MediaTek

NVIDIA Tokenised bStocks (NVDAB) price increased by about 1% to $220.40 on Tuesday, closely tracking a modest rise in Bitcoin (+0.43%) and broader AI sector sentiment.

The move is primarily driven by positive spillover from NVIDIA’s strategic $3.5 billion investment in MediaTek, reinforcing its dominance in the AI ecosystem.

Traders attributed the token’s rise to news that NVIDIA announced a $3.5 billion investment in MediaTek’s convertible bonds on September 1.

This deepens their partnership and accelerates adoption of NVIDIA’s NVLink Fusion technology, reinforcing its AI ecosystem moat and boosting investor confidence in the company’s growth trajectory.

The tokenised asset is reacting to fundamental news about its underlying equity, acting as a proxy for NVDA stock sentiment.

Any market reaction to NVIDIA’s next earnings report or further details on the MediaTek partnership’s financial impact.

The move occurred alongside a positive day for crypto (total market cap up 0.57%) and for Bitcoin. Furthermore, the tokenised stock sector is gaining traction, with platforms like Robinhood Chain seeing record DEX volumes—tokenised stock volume surpassed $1 billion by late August.

NVDAB benefited from a rising tide in both crypto and its specific asset class, as liquidity and interest expand.

The token’s path is tied to NVDA stock performance and sector flows. Technical traders said its key resistance is at $230, aligning with NVDA’s recent price action. Support sits near $215.

The 93.55% surge in 24h trading volume confirms the move but also suggests potential for volatility. The short-term bias is cautiously positive, contingent on the underlying equity holding its gains.

The uptick is a confluence of a positive NVDA catalyst and supportive sector trends. However, as a derivative asset, it remains sensitive to swings in both traditional equity and crypto market sentiment.

The market is monitoring whether NVDA stock can maintain momentum above $225 and whether daily trading volume for NVDAB remains elevated above $14 million to confirm sustained interest. XRP Falls as Ripple Prime Opens Wall Street Swap Desk
