NVIDIA Tokenised bStocks Down as Traders, Investors Take Profits

NVIDIA Tokenised bStocks (NVDAB) fell 2.67% to $225.04, moving independently of the broader crypto market’s rise, driven mainly by profit-taking after a surge in tokenised stock trading over the holiday weekend.

Tokenised equities saw massive trading volume totalling $1.41 billion during the three-day U.S. Labor Day weekend while traditional markets were closed.

With markets reopening, some traders are likely taking profits after that speculative surge, pressuring prices across the sector, including NVDAB. The drop reflects a cooling-off after a hot weekend in a niche sector rather than a fundamental issue with the token.

Trading volume for NVDAB increased by 27.59% to $10.58 million during the price decline. This higher volume confirms genuine selling interest rather than low-liquidity drift. The move was accompanied by measurable capital outflow, suggesting a coordinated exit by some holders.

The immediate driver shifts to the performance of the underlying Nvidia stock now that traditional trading has resumed. If NVDAB holds above the $220 support level, it may stabilise. A break below could test the next support near $215.

The token’s short-term path is now more closely tied to traditional equity market movements and sentiment. The decline reflects a natural cooldown in the tokenised stock sector after a period of intense, holiday-driven activity.

Traders see a positive outlook after the initial profit-taking as  NVDAB is gaining utility beyond simple tracking, with new dividend support and deeper DeFi integration.

Aster, a decentralised exchange on BNB Chain, announced it will automatically pass through NVIDIA’s upcoming quarterly cash dividend of $0.25 per share to NVDAB holders.

Eligibility is based on a snapshot on 10 September 2026. The distribution will occur via a smart contract that adjusts token balances net of taxes and fees, rather than issuing cash.

This is bullish for NVDAB because it validates the token’s role as a full-featured, on-chain equity substitute that directly delivers the economic benefits of stock ownership. It enhances NVDAB’s attractiveness for long-term holders seeking yield within the crypto ecosystem
