NVIDIA Taps Top Finance Companies for $500bn AI Capital

Nvidia has announced a collaboration with top Wall Street finance companies, including Apollo, BlackRock, Blackstone, Brookfield, Goldman Sachs, and KKR, to establish an independent compute financing platform to raise $500 billion.

The consortium of major private capital firms is teaming up with Nvidia Corp. on a potential $500 billion funding package aimed at accelerating the build-out of artificial intelligence data centres and power infrastructure.

Nvidia has already signed memorandums of understanding with these six financial institutions on August 10. The cooperation remains subject to final agreements before becoming effective.

Nvidia will work with these companies to set up a dedicated large-scale fund pool, providing funding support to Nvidia’s customers at attractive financing interest rates.

Nvidia CEO Huang Renxun stated that the $500 billion AI financing agreement is entirely funded by third-party capital, and the related transactions will support large-scale AI construction.

The partnership with Wall Street’s largest alternative-asset managers confirms that the capital intensity of the boom is now a central strategic concern for Nvidia’s management. Meta Earnings Under Pressure in Q2, Revenue Up, Profit Dips
