NVDAB Plunges as AI Regulatory Fears Drive Nvidia Stock Selloff

NVIDIA Tokenised bStocks (NVDAB) price slumped 6.32% to $185.19 in 24h, closely tracking a sharp selloff in its underlying stock and the broader crypto market.

The move is primarily driven by a Wall Street tech rout fueled by political fears over AI infrastructure. The price reflected a selloff in Nvidia stock amid AI regulatory fears after Democrats won the midterms, raising concerns about data-centre construction and costs.

The drop mirrors a 9.25% plunge in Nvidia’s stock price on November 5, putting the semiconductor company’s market value at $4.4 trillion.

The selloff followed Democratic victories in Congress, sparking investor concern about potential regulatory scrutiny and construction delays for AI data centres—a core market for Nvidia’s hardware.

UBS analysts estimated 30% of expected US data centre capacity additions by 2028 could be delayed. The tokenised asset is acting as a direct proxy for traditional market sentiment, with crypto traders quickly pricing in equity-market fears.

The decline was part of a wider rout. The Philadelphia Semiconductor Index fell over 10%, with peers like SanDisk and Micron down 17% and 12%, respectively.

This triggered a spike in tokenised stock trading volume as investors exited positions across the sector. The move wasn’t isolated to NVDAB; it reflects a risk-off shift away from high-growth tech and AI narratives.

The immediate technical zone is between $180 and $200, where Nvidia’s stock recently traded. Holding above $180 could signal a base, while a break lower may extend the downtrend.

The key fundamental catalyst is Nvidia’s earnings report on November 17, with updates on data-centre revenue growth and customer spending plans critical.

The token’s path depends on resolving the macro overhang on AI stocks and the company’s upcoming results. Price action around the $180 level and trading volume ahead of the November 17 earnings.

The decline directly translates equity-market anxiety into the crypto token, amplified by sector-wide de-risking. The market is watching whether Nvidia’s stock can find a floor above $180 in traditional markets, as this will likely dictate the token’s near-term trajectory.
