NNPCL Increases Fuel Pump Price to N855
The Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL) has increased the pump price of petrol from ₦568 to ₦855, ₦897 amid lingering fuel scarcity and the country’s crisis.
NNPCL recently lament that its near financial distress could affect continuous supply of fuel native wide due to $6 billion debt owed to suppliers. While the report from Abuja said price was jerked up to ₦897 per liter.
Analysts said new price could reverse Nigeria’s disinflation expectation as other private stations are expected to increase price as well. The privatised state oil company is now the sole buyer of Dangote Refinery crude oil sales. #NNPCL Increases Fuel Pump Price to N855
