Nigeria Showcases Sustainable Growth Strategy for Inclusive Development

The Federal Government has showcased sustainable growth strategy for inclusive development at the 2025 World Economic Forum in Davos, Switzerland.

Mr Mohammed Manga, the Director of Information and Public Relations at the Ministry of Finance, made this known in a statement issued in Abuja on Thursday.

He stated that the Minister of Finance and Coordinating Minister of the Economy, Mr Wale Edun, had expressed optimism about Nigeria’s economic trajectory.

He quoted the minister as saying “the country’s economic policies are yielding tangible results with an increase in domestic refining capacity, stable exchange rate and greater fiscal transparency.”

He said government was laying foundation for sustainable growth and bolstering the country’s reputation as an attractive investment destination.

Edun said that some achievements under President Bola Tinubu’s administration improved foreign reserves, rising government revenue and transformative infrastructure and energy projects.

The minister reiterated government’s commitment to inclusivity and social protection programmes which reached millions of Nigerians.

Edun said that the country’s active participation at the World Economic Forum demonstrates its determination to lead global economic conversations and foster inclusive growth.

He added that the country’s economic policies were yielding tangible results, and commitment to transparency, inclusivity and sustainable development paving the way for brighter future.

“Nigeria is poised to emerge as key player in the global economy, attracting investments needed to drive sustainable development for the benefit of citizens,” he said. #Nigeria Showcases Sustainable Growth Strategy for Inclusive Development#
