Naira Slides to N763.17 at Investors, Exporters Window
As rates begin to converge across markets, the Naira on Wednesday depreciated against the United States (US) dollar at the investors and exporters window.
US dollar was sold to eligible users at N763.17, translating to 0.87 per cent depreciation of the local currency when compared with N756.61 for which it was exchanged for the dollar on Tuesday.
The open indicative rate closed at N741.21 to the dollar on Wednesday. An exchange rate of N815 to the dollar was the highest rate recorded within the day’s trading before it settled at N763.17.
The Naira sold for as low as 476 to the dollar within the day’s trading. A total of 96.44 million dollars was traded at the official investors and exporters window on Wednesday. #Naira Slides to N763.17 at Investors, Exporters Window
