    Ecobank Bags Digital Jurist ‘Best Web Portal’ Award

    Ecobank Nigeria has bagged the Phillips Consulting Digital Jurist’s Best Web Portal” Award in Nigeria, ahead of 22 other commercial banks.

    The digital jurist award was created by experts at Phillips Consulting to assess the performance and effectiveness of digital platforms across various industries, including banking, telecommunications, and government.

    The evaluation covers websites, web portals, mobile apps, and social media, with focus organizations that have excelled in digital transformation.

    Mr Kola Adeleke, Executive Director, Commercial Banking, Ecobank Nigeria, in a statement on Wednesday, in Lagos, said that the recognition highlighted Ecobank’s leadership in digital banking.

    He added that the reconignition also showed the bank’s commitment to delivering innovative, customer-focused solutions, and using digital technology to enhance customer experience. He noted that digital banking remained the future of the industry, and Ecobank had long embraced the shift.

    The bank’s director commended the organisers of the award, while reiterating the financial institution’s dedication to providing seamless, reliable, and secure digital banking solutions.

    According to him, the prestigious recognition reinforces the bank’s position as a leader in digital innovation and highlights the growing role of technology in shaping the future of banking.

    The bank’s is an affiliate of the Ecobank Group, established in 1985, to drive financial integration and socio-economic development in Africa, with presence in 35 sub-Saharan African countries, including France, UK, UAE and China.
