Cardano Slides 4% on Healthy Price Correction after Rally

Cardano (ADA) price is down 4.10% to $0.245 over the past 24 hours, underperforming a modestly weaker broader market, driven primarily by profit-taking after a strong multi-week rally.

Crypto analysts attributed the movement to a healthy correction and profit-taking after a 22.36% monthly gain, amplified by a slight pullback in the total crypto market cap.

ADA has surged 22.36% over the past 30 days, reaching levels that triggered natural profit-taking from short-term traders.

The 24-hour trading volume rose 18.80% to $521.91 million, confirming active selling pressure. This is a typical technical pullback within a broader uptrend, not a reaction to negative news.

The move is a consolidation, not a trend reversal, as it follows significant recent gains. A hold above the 30-day simple moving average near $0.219, which would suggest the underlying bullish structure is still in place.

Recent developments are positive, including Fireblocks’ support for Cardano Native Tokens and integration into the x402 AI payment toolkit.

The drop aligns with a minor 1.78% dip in the total crypto market cap, suggesting ADA is experiencing a slightly amplified beta move.

Traders said the absence of a specific catalyst points to a market-driven, technical correction rather than a fundamental issue. The immediate technical path hinges on key support levels. The critical Fibonacci retracement support (38.2%) sits near $0.236.

Holding this level could set up a retest of resistance at $0.254–$0.258. A break below $0.236 would shift focus to stronger support near $0.22.

The broader market’s direction, influenced by the upcoming August PCE inflation data on September 30, will be a key external driver for sentiment.

The short-term bias is neutral-to-bearish pending a clear hold of support. The trend remains bullish on higher timeframes, but a deeper correction is possible if broader market sentiment sours.

The pullback is a natural digestion of recent gains, not a sign of weakness in Cardano’s positive ecosystem developments. The price action is now testing whether underlying demand is strong enough to absorb this wave of selling. Cardano Price Rises 7% on x402 SDK Integration Optimism
