    BUA to Commission 3 Million Metric Tonnes Cement Plant

    A member of Nigerian cement oligarchs, BUA Cement Plc, said on Tuesday the company is set to commission its three million metric tons Sokoto line 4 cement plant and forty-eight (48) megawatts power plant, on 27 of January 2022.  

    The group Chairman, BUA Cement Plc., Abdul Samad Rabiu (CON), announced the commissioning on the group official LinkedIn page on Tuesday.

    According to him, the event will also see the groundbreaking of the three million metric tonnes Line 5 by His Excellency, Muhammadu Buhari (GCFR), President and Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria.
