Bitcoin Price Declines on Spot ETF Flow, Stagflation Concerns

Bitcoin (BTC) price declined 0.69% to $64,382.17, closely tracking a 0.71% drop in the total crypto market cap. The decline is primarily driven by persistent stagflation fears and inconsistent institutional demand, as evidenced by erratic ETF flows and a defensive market rotation away from risk assets.

The decline mirrors a 0.71% drop in total crypto market cap, indicating a macro-driven move. Analysts point to stagflation fears after the latest U.S. Manufacturing PMI showed slowing growth with high input costs.

Concurrently, spot Bitcoin ETF flows have been erratic—a $61.53 million outflow snapped a three-week inflow streak, and market makers like Wintermute suggest recent ETF buying may be arbitrage-driven rather than outright bullish accumulation.

Crypto analysts said Bitcoin’s price is sensitive to macroeconomic sentiment and the quality—not just quantity—of institutional ETF flows. Bitcoin faced rejection near the 38.2% Fibonacci retracement level at $64,840.61, a key technical resistance.

The move coincided with a risk-off shift in crypto: the Altcoin Season Index fell 18.6% in 24h, and Bitcoin’s dominance ticked up to 58.85%, signalling capital is rotating defensively back to BTC and away from higher-beta altcoins.

The market lacks momentum to push through overhead resistance, favouring a cautious, range-bound stance. A daily close above $64,841 will signal breakout potential.

The immediate trigger is whether Bitcoin can attract sustained spot buying to complement recent ETF inflows. The key technical range is between support at the 61.8% Fibonacci level ($63,562) and resistance at $64,841.

If buying pressure emerges and BTC reclaims $65,000, it could target the $66,910 swing high. However, failure to hold $63,562 support risks a deeper pullback toward the crucial $63,000 zone, potentially triggering further ETF outflows.

The market is at an inflexion point, balancing between macro headwinds and underlying institutional interest. Bitcoin’s reaction to the $63,562 support level and the daily net flow figure for U.S. spot Bitcoin ETFs.

Bitcoin’s modest decline reflects a market grappling with stagflation risks and questioning the conviction behind recent institutional flows. The path of least resistance remains sideways within a tight range until a clear catalyst emerges. Worldcoin Sinks 6%, Eightco Holdings Discloses 8.4% Holdings
