    AXA Mansard Sees Slight Intraday Gain

    AXA Mansard Insurance PLC is currently trading positive on the Nigerian Exchange (NGX) albeit, with a marginal gain as the financial stocks seek to keep uptrend.

    The insurer recorded 30 kobo gain yesterday in the equities market, and it has started a fresh positive price movement on Tuesday.

    Data showed that investors have started betting on the stock, causing its price to increase by 5 kobo.

    Insurance stocks appear to be least traded among financial services index due to low key contribution to the market, and the economy at large.

    Some outlier stocks, especially, respectable insurance brands has seen huge year to date gain. AXA Mansard market price has climbed to N5.35 from N5.30. It opened the week at N5.03.

    The insurance stock is trading at 21.32% discount to its 52-week high. Data from the equities market showed that AXA Mansard Plc had peaked at N6.80 during the early boom. # AXA Mansard Sees Slight Intraday Gain
