    AXA Mansard Profit Surges by 117% in 2025, EPS Hits 279k

    AXA Mansard Plc.’s profit after tax grew by 117% to N26.88 billion in the financial year 2025, according to details from the group’s audited financial statement.

    The significant year-on-year increase in the group’s bottom line was supported by 14% surge in insurance service results and other investment revenue.

    According to audited financials, AXA Mansard insurance service results surged to N12.836 billion at the end of 2025, up by 14% year on year from N11.269 billion in the comparable period.

    AXA Mansard Plc.’s insurance revenue edged higher by 59% year-on-year in 2025, amidst tough industry rivalry in a tight operating environment.

    The company posted N131.337 billion as revenue, up from N82.753 billion. The revenue breakdown showed that health (N47.228 billion) was the major contributor, followed by oil and gas (N37.469 billion) and fire insurance (N12.646 billion) policies sold to clients.

    However, insurance service expenses grew faster than revenue growth, up by 64% to N85.433 billion from N52.048 billion in the equivalent period in 2024.

    The insurer also recorded a significant year-on-year growth of 70% in net reinsurance contracts held, settling at N33.068 billion from N19.434 billion.

    The group’s investment return increased sharply to N35.558 billion by 106% year on year from N17.258 billion, supported by other investment revenue sources.

    For 2025, AXA Mansard’s profit before tax climbed to N30.983 billion, representing a 96% year-on year growth from N15.772 billion posted in the equivalent period in 2024.

    AXA Mansard Plc.’s net income settled at N26.188 billion following a 29% year on year income tax expense surge.
