    Shettima Highlights Nigeria’s Transformational Vision

Vice-President Kashim Shettima has said that President Bola Tinubu’s bold vision and pragmatic leadership will transform Nigeria into a more vibrant country in the near future.

A statement from Shettima’s spokesperson, Mr Stanley Nkwocha, issued on Sunday, revealed that the Vice-President made this comment during a meeting with ‘Big Win Philanthropy.’

The delegation, led by Chief Executive Officer Jamie Cooper, visited the Presidential Villa in Abuja for a courtesy call. Shettima highlighted the administration’s investments in healthcare, education, and other key sectors, which would drive Nigeria’s transformation.

“In a few years, I see a more vibrant Nigeria. Our investments in healthcare and education will be a game-changer,” he said. He also expressed his belief that education could enable anyone, regardless of background, to become a success.

The Vice-President welcomed Big Win Philanthropy’s commitment to working alongside Tinubu’s administration on impactful initiatives. He noted that the government is eager to explore ways the foundation’s expertise could align with the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Shettima discussed the Nutrition 774 Initiative, a grassroots programme aimed at institutionalising nutrition at local government levels. He added that the initiative would help reverse Nigeria’s negative health indicators through a multi-sector approach.

“Africa is rising. We are open for business, and Nigeria is ready for meaningful partnerships with Big Win Philanthropy.

“We seek partnerships that benefit the world. Nigeria is a nation rich in potential, blessed with resources and a dynamic, determined young population,” he said. Shettima praised Tinubu’s leadership, calling him a supremely competent and intelligent leader.

Earlier, Cooper expressed the delegation’s intent to discuss nutrition, combating stunting, and the importance of collaboration with the Vice-President. “We are working with several ministers to create over two million jobs and address malnutrition, vaccine production, and local drug manufacturing,” Cooper said.

Minister of Health and Social Welfare, Prof. Muhammad Pate, described the visit as a sign of confidence in the country’s direction under President Tinubu and Vice-President Shettima’s leadership. #Shettima Highlights Nigeria’s Transformational Vision Impact of U.S. Trade War on Nigeria Likely Limited
