Nova Bank Limited Shops for New Chief Executive

Nova Bank Limited has commenced a search for a new managing director and chief executive officer (MD/CEO) to lead the commercial operation.  Adebowale Oyedeji, the Chief Executive Officer/Managing Director of NOVA Bank Limited, has been poached and officially announced to become FBN Holdings Group Managing Director next month.

Last week, FBN Holdings Plc announced the appointment of Oyedeji as the Group Managing Director (GMD) with effect from November 13, 2024. In a regulatory filing on the Nigerian Exchange, the board said Oyedeji appointment is subject to the approval of the Central Bank of Nigeria and ratification by the shareholders at the annual general meeting of the company.

Sources said Nova Bank Limited, a company that recently converted to full fledge commercial operators is already shopping for a replacement. At the moment, Nova has not release an official statement as to who would take up the bank’s leadership mantle.

Nova Bank spokesperson is not currently available to respond to MarketForces Africa about the plan to replace Deji as Nova Bank Limited Chief. #Nova Bank Limited Shops for New Chief Executive UBA Grows Post Tax Profit by 17% in Nine Months
