    Super Eagles Coach: PFAN back Finidi to succeed

    The Professional Footballers Association Of Nigeria (PFAN), has congratulated Finidi George on his appointment as the substantive coach of the Super Eagles.

    In the congratulatory message released by General-Secretary, Emmanuel Babayaro, and signed by its President, Tijani Babangida, PFAN described George’s appointment by NFF as very good for football.

    PFAN which is the players union in Nigeria, also stated members belief and confidence in the technical abilities of the former Ajax Amsterdam and Real Betis star, to do a great job and make Nigerians happy  again.

    It stated,”Finidi George is a great and worthy choice for the exalted Super Eagles coaching job as a former player and member of PFAN.

    ”We want to reiterate that we are solidly behind him and would give him every assistance necessary for him to do his job.”

    Also, the PFAN President, who was also a former Ajax of Amsterdam winger, urged the NFF to support the newly appointed coach and provide him the enabling atmosphere to succeed. #Super Eagles Coach: PFAN back Finidi to succeed
