Mutual Benefits Assurance Announces Delay in Filling Results
Mutual Benefits Assurance Plc has informed shareholders, investing public and key stakeholders that it will be unable to meet the 30 July 2022, deadline to file its Unaudited Financial Statements for the 2nd quarter.
Jide Ibitayo, the company secretary said in a statement posted on the Nigerian Exchange last week as the market awaits the previous year’s audited statement and the first half of 2022 financials to be submitted.
However, Ibitayo said the notice is in compliance with the Listing Rules of Nigerian Exchange Limited (NGX). Mutual benefits Assurance explained that the delay is because the Company is yet to file its Audited Financial Statements for the Year ended 31 December 2021 (2021 AFS).
Pursuant to the rules of NGX, filing preceding Audited accounts first is a prerequisite to filing quarterly accounts, it added.
