LINK Price Rises 4% as Chainlink 24/7 Pricing Goes Live
Chainlink (LINK) rose about 4% to $11.76 in 24 hours, outperforming a broadly flat crypto market as 24/7 pricing goes live; traders said the momentum supported a re-rating amid a crypto downturn.
LINK rally was also driven by a series of institutional product announcements that reinforce its utility as critical blockchain infrastructure.
Demand spiked on optimism around recent institutional product launches, including CustodySync and an Automated Compliance Engine integration, which expand Chainlink’s addressable market.
Digital on October 26, enabling institutions to borrow against assets held in custody. On October 27, Further Asset Management tapped Chainlink’s Automated Compliance Engine for a tokenised-asset platform in Abu Dhabi.
These back-to-back developments signal growing enterprise adoption, directly supporting demand for LINK’s services. The narrative is shifting from speculative trading to tangible utility, providing a fundamental price floor.
Social media net sentiment is mildly bullish at 5.66/10, with posts highlighting Chainlink’s “institutional plumbing” and network growth. Concurrently, LINK is a top performer in the “Bitcoin Ecosystem” sector, which gained 0.77% in 24h, suggesting some rotational flow into infrastructure assets.
Traders said community confidence and sector rotation are providing ancillary support, though not the primary catalyst. The price is testing a key resistance zone between the 23.6% Fibonacci level ($11.77) and the recent swing high ($11.91).
The 7-day average at $11.63 and the 50% Fibonacci level at $11.61 form immediate support.
The structure is cautiously bullish but needs to clear $11.91 to confirm a new leg higher. A daily close above $11.91 would target the 127.2% extension near $12.08.
The move is underpinned by concrete developments expanding Chainlink’s institutional use cases, outweighing a quiet broader market.
At the Link: NYC conference, Chainlink launched a 24/7 data service that provides reference prices for equities, commodities, and other real-world assets (RWAs), even on weekends and holidays.
Aave’s institutional platform, Horizon, is the first major adopter, using the feeds to value eligible RWA collateral for lending.
This is bullish for LINK because it directly expands Chainlink’s utility into the burgeoning tokenised-asset space, creating a new, ongoing demand channel for its oracle services.
However, the value depends on broad adoption and the inherent risk that off-hours derivative prices may diverge from underlying cash markets. Ripple’s CEO Sees XRP Hitting $10trn Market Cap
