Ripple’s CEO Sees XRP Hitting $10trn Market Cap

Ripple Chief Executive Officer (CEO) Brad Garlinghouse said on a podcast shared on X that he believes $XRP is on track to reach a $10 trillion market capitalisation.

This implies a price of $179.50 within 10–15 years for a token struggling to hold at $ 1.50, according to trading data across cryptocurrency exchanges.

$XRP’s current total market cap is $88.89 billion.

Garlinghouse has repeatedly highlighted cross-border payments as an area where blockchain technology can address weaknesses in traditional financial infrastructure.

He cited major legal victories against the SEC, the Trump administration’s pro-crypto stance and the proposed CLARITY Act as key regulatory catalysts that could unlock institutional participation.

He also highlighted $XRP’s role as a fast, low-cost bridge currency for cross-border payments and liquidity management, noting banks and financial institutions use Ripple’s blockchain for international settlement.

He summarised supportive regulations, expanding institutional adoption and improved global liquidity cycles as the main drivers that could propel $XRP toward a $10 trillion valuation.

The reported scenario would place XRP at approximately $179.50 per token, based on the circulating supply figure used in the calculation. That would represent a substantial increase from current XRP valuations and would require the asset to achieve a market capitalisation in the multi-trillion-dollar range.

The claim has circulated alongside discussion of pro-crypto regulation, wider institutional adoption, and the use of blockchain networks for cross-border payments.

Those themes are consistent with Garlinghouse’s longstanding argument that digital assets can improve the movement of value across financial markets.

However, the distinction between XRP itself and the broader digital-asset infrastructure Garlinghouse discusses matters.

Community responses have pointed out that some of his comments concern the scale of assets that could move through digital-asset networks, custody systems, or on-chain settlement infrastructure rather than suggesting that $10 trillion would necessarily represent XRP’s standalone market value.
