Iran Seeks no War But ‘ll Respond to Aggressors – President
Iranian President Masoud Pezeshkian said on Monday that Iran would not seek war but would respond with strength and decisiveness to any aggression.
“We do not seek war, and this is a clear message that we have so far conveyed to the world.
“However, we will never sit still in the face of aggression and will give a decisive response to aggressors,” he said in a statement issued by his office.
Pezeshkian added that instability and unrest in the region were not in the interest of any country, saying that countries must make efforts to ensure security and development in their regions.
The president’s remarks came as the U.S. Central Command spokesperson Tim Hawkins said in a statement that U.S. forces on Sunday struck two launchers on Iran’s southern Larak Island.
Following the attack, the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps said that some military personnel and civilians were killed or wounded in the attack, vowing that the strike would be responded to with “punishment for the aggressor.” #Iran Seeks no War But ‘ll Respond to Aggressors – President# Trump Halts Planned Iran Strike Amid Peace Push
