The monetary authority has remained unfazed by inflation condition in Nigeria

‘Policy Rate Cut Unlikely To Move Yields in Fixed Income Market’. Analysts at Tellimer have said the monetary authority decision to slash the policy rate by 100 basis points is unlikely to move yields in the fixed income market. 

Ahead of the rescheduled Monetary Policy Committee meeting of the Central Bank of Nigeria, Meristem Securities, Vetiva and others have predicted that the policy rates would be maintained.
