FCCPC Begins Investigations to Determine Exploitation in Airfare Price The Federal Competition and Consumer Protection Commission (FCCPC), says it has commenced an investigation into pricing templates behind high ticket rates charge by some airlines on some domestic routes. NIMASA Debunks Reports Linking Nigeria to Intercepted MV Skippers The Nigerian Maritime Administration and Safety Agency (NIMASA) has dismissed reports alleging that the Very Large Crude Carrier (VLCC) Skipper intercepted by United States authorities is Nigerian-owned or Nigerian-flagged. DisCos Metered 187,000 New Electricity Consumers in 2 Months – NERC The Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission (NERC) says that Electricity Distribution Companies (DisCos) metered more than 187,000 new consumers in September and October. The commission made this known in its latest Metering Fact Sheet released on its website in Abuja on Friday. According to the commission, the factsheet shows how DisCos are progressing in closing the country’s metering gap. The report showed that 80,943 customers were metered in September, while in October 106,822 new meters were installed.
