NAICOM Opens New Licensing Portal for Insurance Coys, Others

The National Insurance Commission (NAICOM) has opened a new portal for the registration and renewal of licences for insurance companies and agents.

NAICOM management disclosed in Abuja on Wednesday, that the new portal would fast track and streamline licensing of insurance agents.

The Commission said that the portal would also reduce manual intervention in the issuance of licensing processes.

NAICOM said that all applications for registration and renewal of agency licences should, “henceforth, be submitted using; https://agent.naicom.gov.ng on the new portal with effect from Aug.1.’’

The Commission advised that, all applications yet to be registered on the old portal, should be submitted through the new licensing agents’ portal.

“All registered agents and insurance companies are hereby advised to note the above and be guided accordingly,’’ the Commission stressed. Reps Committee Queries Ministry over Unauthorised Spending
