Bi-Courtney Boosts MM2 Security, Reassures Airport Users

Bi-Courtney Aviation Services Ltd., the operator of Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two (MMA 2), Ikeja, says robust surveillance systems would continue to be deployed to enhance security in the airport.

This is contained in a statement signed by Mrs Ajoke Yinka-Olawuyi, Bi-Courtney’s Head of Corporate Communications, and made available to the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN) on Friday in Lagos.

Yinka-Olawuyi reaffirmed the company’s commitment to the safety and security of all passengers, staff, and visitors within and around the terminal.

According to her, MMA2 has long maintained a robust surveillance system, including Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) cameras, which have been pivotal in addressing customer complaints and theft claims effectively, thereby, ensuring a safe and secure environment.

She added that in recent months, MMA2 had further fortified its security infrastructure with additional measures to complement the existing surveillance system.

“This includes the deployment of highly trained security personnel and conducting Security Awareness Training for all tenants and concessionaires of the terminal.

“These enhancements, alongside our existing CCTV surveillance, have yielded significant results in addressing alleged theft incidents within and around the terminal.

“Our comprehensive security measures have played a crucial role in identifying and apprehending individuals involved in criminal activities, thereby deterring future incidents, and fostering a safer environment for all,” she noted.

Yinka-Olawuyi, who acknowledged the importance of upholding a secure and reliable environment for passengers and stakeholders, said that Bi-Courtney would remain dedicated to enhancing security protocols to effectively counter evolving threats.

“At MMA2, safety and security are paramount, and we spare no effort in ensuring that our terminal remains a secure and welcoming space for all. Naira Suffers Big, CBN Goes Ballistic Against FX Whales

“We urge the public to remain vigilant and promptly report any suspicious activities to our dedicated security personnel for immediate action,” she said.

She appreciated passengers, partners and stakeholders for their support and cooperation.
