QNET Denies Involvement in Illegal Activities

QNET, an e-commerce company on Wednesday dissociated itself from individuals illegally using the company’s name to defraud people.

The Regional General Manager of QNET Sub-Saharan Africa, Mr Biram Fall, said this in a statement on Wednesday. He said the company had recently become aware of certain individuals who claimed to be Independent Representatives (IRs) of QNET and had been apprehended by regulatory authorities in Nigeria.

Fall said QNET was deeply troubled by the recent developments involving allegations of fraudulent activities and illegal migration and would like to clarify that the company had no involvement in the reported incidents.

“We pledge to work with the authorities to bring the perpetrators to book. We are also investigating these matters internally and will take disciplinary action against any Independent Representative (IR) implicated in them.

“QNET is a reputable global lifestyle and wellness-focused direct-selling company that operates with integrity and adheres to the highest ethical standards.

“We are committed to empowering individuals through entrepreneurship and providing genuine opportunities for financial growth.

“The company actively works with the legal authorities in addressing brand misrepresentation in African countries by identifying these individuals and providing the necessary documents to the authorities,” he said.

Fall said that QNET held its employees and Independent Representatives to the highest ethical standards, implemented strict policies and procedures to protect distributors and customers from unlawful and fraudulent behaviour.

He said the company always prioritised the well-being of customers and stakeholders above everything else.

According to him, QNET has established robust processes and systems to ensure transparency, compliance and protection of our stakeholders.

“At the moment we have an ongoing Social Awareness Campaign which seeks to equip Nigerians with valuable information and resources to protect them from potential scams.

“These activities underscore QNET’s steadfast dedication to ethical business conduct, demonstrating the company’s fundamental principles of transparency, integrity and empowering consumers.

“We encourage anyone who may have been affected by these alleged incidents to come forward and report them to the appropriate authorities and also to QNET,” Fall said. #QNET Denies Involvement in Illegal Activities#
